“I received this playmat as a gift and didn’t even realize how essential this mat was for my little one and me until we started using it. We would take our mat with us everywhere. I felt so comfortable putting my baby girl down on the mat to play when I went out for baby playdates and even over to visit at my mom’s home. As an infant it was a great place for her to lie down and observe the world “above” her and even use for naptime while we were out on visits. And then after a few months, she spent some of her tummy time on the mat…she wasn’t a huge fan of tummy time but it worked to keep her attention and very comfortable. A few months after that, I had her practicing her sitting skills on the mat….which was great as I didn’t have to panic or move at super sonic speeds when she would topple over. Eventually she herself would play on the mat with her toys. Now that she’s a year old, not much playing happens on the mat as she would prefer to walk around and explore the house. Our wonderful playmat now comes out for our reading time. It has served us well over this past year and I still can see my little one using it in the coming years.
